Do you remember the plot of “Groundhog Day”? Bill Murray plays a weatherman who finds himself living the same day over and over again, doomed to spend the rest of eternity in the same place, seeing the same people do the same things every single day. That’s the way we feel in Argentina. Same issues, same conflicts, same confrontations, same feuds, with the addition of the pandemic, which obviously makes matters worse. Inflation, poverty, crime, drug trafficking, political clientelism, fiscal deficit, unemployment, recession, soaring cost of living, housing shortage, young people fleeing. The same unsolved problems that no administration has managed to tackle successfully yet. This one in particular has been unable to make things better. As a matter of fact, Kirchnerism has proved to be an utter failure.
