Last Monday, July 18, was the 28th anniversary of the terrorist car- bombing that destroyed the AMIA buiding in Buenos Aires. An open wound that will never heal until the murderers are identified and punished. Neither Alberto Fernández nor Cristina Fernández turned up. No wonder. The Vice President has never appeared when a “tragedy” struck (Cromañón, Once, etc). She hides and even dares to crack nasty jokes (“Let´s hurry up in case a train runs over us”). Cristina is so self-centered, so selfish, so callous, so insensitive, that instead of showing some sort of empathy towards the relatives and friends of the 85 people killed on July 18, 1994, she chose to attack the Supreme Court once again, since she faces a whole amount of corruption indictments and is scared of being declared guilty. She is her one and only concern and priority, while Argentina is literally falling to pieces, due to the catastrophic administration of her appointed President. Meanwhile, Alberto blames the media for «encouraging anguish, fear and discontent». Tit for tat. Both Fernández are two sides of the same coin. Birds of a feather flock together. Sigh …
