At times I wonder: what if this administration is doing its best to test our resilience? I mean, on the surface it may seem that they are torturing us every single day with a piece of bad news, but maybe, at bottom, they are putting us on trial, in a sort of “survival of the fittest” reality show. Why not imagine that they just want to see how long we endure, how we manage to make ends meet, how we cope with crime and insecurity. What if they are sheep in woolfs’ clothing and not the other way around? Well intentioned guys who wish to make us stronger and turn us into super heroes and super heroines, capable of sticking together and weathering this awful storm and its aftermath. We may end up thanking them for such generosity after all. Appearances are misleading, aren’t they? Who knows …
