CFK reminds me of Lady Macbeth, the emblematic character by William Shakespeare. Her ambition, her cruelty, her callousness, her vanity are boundless. She shows no sympathy or empathy for others. Not even for her own devotees. Only last week, Wado de Pedro launched his presidential campaign on TV. Same as Daniel “Pichichi” Scioli. Needless to say, they are both peronists/kirchnerists. However, a few days later they were both brushed aside and replaced by Sergio Massi & Agustín Rossi, the one and only approved formula of the government’s ruling coalition. Did they complain? Not at all. They simply obeyed their Boss. To make up for his loss, Wado was sent to Mercedes (his home town) to open a merry-go-round (una calesita). Literally. As for Pichichi, he was summoned by Massa, who gave the rejected candidate a bear hug, to smooth things over. No room for dignity, is there? Sigh …
