There’s a Pepsi commercial being shown presently in our local TV which -to say the least – sets an awful example. In it, Mauro Icardi, the footballer from Rosario, now playing for Milan’s Inter, finds out that he can get a Pepsi bottle for free, if he collects 5 bottle caps. How does he go about it: he steals them, one by one, from other people (a colleague, a child, etc), breaks into a car, and then escapes with his brand new girlfriend (Maxi López’s ex-wife), in the Ferrari she got from her former husband. As background music: Babasónico’s song: «Estoy mirando a tu novia, ¿y qué?» (I’m looking at your girfriend. So what?) Therefore, the morale would be something like: the end justifies the means.
