At the end of the day, I think we should all be thankful to the lousy administration of Alberto Fernández. Why on earth, you might ask. Well, simply because he has unequivocally proved the utter failure and defeat of kirchnerism. They’ve done everything wrong, always blaming Macri, the war, the drought, Covid, and whatnot. The result: more poverty, more crime, more inflation, more young people flying away, unstoppable dollar-peso turbulence, all pervading uncertainty, trial and error policies, aimlessness, hopelessness. They’ve wasted another valuable opportunity to set things right. And to make matters worse, they don’t even seem to have learnt from their mistakes, because they constantly deny them. Therefore, thank you, Alberto! Maybe you didn’t mean to, but apparently you have signed kirchnerism’s death certificate. R.I.P.
