There are certain individuals akin to President Milei who sound utterly outdated. His biographer’s homophobic mindset, stated publicly, is outrageous. Nicolás Márquez thinks homosexuality is a disease, he discourages gay parenting, and thinks gay people die sooner than heterosexuals, and are more prone to addictions and suicide. Likewise, Milei’s Religion Secretary, Francisco Sánchez, has criticized fiercely the legalization of same-sex marriage, divorce and abortion. I wonder: isn’t this a “libertarian administration”? Doesn’t libertarianism support freedom of thought and freedom of choice above anything else? I always thought dinosaurs had gone extinct about 65 million years ago , but maybe Susana Giménez was right after all, and a couple have survived …
