At last, one year later, the Ara San Juan has been found, lying at the bottom of the sea. I believe this is essential for the families of the 44 members of the crew, so that they can start mourning them. The concept “missing” is absolutely unbearable. And, unluckily, it reminds us of the many “desaparecidos” (missing ones) during the last dictatorship in Argentina. As human beings, we need to know where our dead ones are. It doesn’t bring them back to life, but it certainly brings some sort of peace to our troubled souls. It’s our right to know. And it’s also our right and duty to find out the causes of this tragedy.  May they rest in peace.
