Julie Andrews has just turned 90, and her classic «The Sound of Music» is already 60 years old. Good occasion to see “Una película sin Julie” (“A film without Julie”), the solo play written by Fernando Albinarrate, performed by Lucila Gandolfo, directed by Julio Panno, at Paseo La Plaza (CABA), on Tuesdays at 8.30pm. A masterpiece. The actress plays a devoted fan of Julies’s since early childhood. Her most iconic songs keep her company all throughout her life. However, when she’s 18, there’s a traumatic turning-point that will turn her into a completely different person. Gandolfo’s performance is outstanding. She sings and dances beautifully and interprets many characters, owning the stage from the very start. Musical director Fernando Albinarrate or Nico Di Lorenzo play a supportive part as pianists in this delicious tribute to one of the most beloved performers of her generation. You can’t miss it!
