Whatever the result of the October presidential elections is, whoever wins, I do hope everything’s over as soon as possible, so that we can leave this sort of limbo, this endless period of waiting, this nowhere land we’re all living in, with candidates promising things and the government taking last minute, life saving measures (that could have been taken long ago). We are all fed up by now, tired of watching this cheap, pathetic soap opera, performed by lousy actors and actresses, with a very poor script and no direction at all. In the meantime, we do our best to make ends meet, to get back home sound and safe, and to try and keep our spirits up in the midst of this catastrophe. A state of things we Argentines don’t deserve. We are not to blame. It’s them who have to carry the can. They’ve all proved to be utter failures, so far.
