Louis XV  (1710-1774), King of France, is said to have uttered these words, that  could be translated as “After me, the flood”, at the end of his  unpopular and failed monarchy.
These days, I was reminded of that  ominous warning, when the kirchnerist gay activist Alex Freyre said  publicly: “If Macri or Massa win, there will be no dollars to buy HIV  meds.” On top of that, Tucumán’s legendary Governor, José Alperovich,  has stated that countless social benefits will be lost if the official  party doesn’t win the next presidential elections.
So, this is  their brand new strategy: to scare the wits out of us, so that we’ll  vote them in again. Better the devil you know, than the devil you don’t,  they seem to suggest.
A childish, desperate and futile attempt to recover so much lost confidence,trust and respectability. Too late.
