How come Pope Francis has only recently realized that there’s poverty in his native country, Argentina? High time! He has just welcomed representatives of popular movements and union leaders at the Vatican and has harhsly criticized the current administration, thus becoming a sort of virtual leader of the opposition. Rather than the Head of the Catholic Church, he sounds like a politician who openly favours kirchnerism, in spite of the fact that both CFK and Néstor despised him when he was Archbishop Bergoglio. I’m sure the Pope’s attitude disappoints millions of Argentine catholics, but he doesn’t seem to care.
