A few days ago, I watched a very interesting interview in “Odisea Argentina”, where Carlos Pagni talked with former Uruguayan president Julio María Sanguinetti. This bright politician, journalist, editor, columnist, lawyer and writer will turn 90 years young next January 6th. The “Colorado Party” organized a pre- birthday party and invited the current president Yamandú Orsi, former presidents Lacalle Herrera  and Lacalle Pou, and many other political leaders.  I’ve always looked up to our neighbors. They are far more respectful, open-minded and tolerant than us. I remember Sanguinetti and José Mujica (Broad Front) hugging warmly in the Senate (2020), in spite of their blatant ideological differences. Argentine politicians should learn from that example of civic conduct
